Heidi La Paglia Reid (she/her) is an Autistic and disabled consultant with over a decade of experience working at the intersections of disability rights, gender equity, and lived experience advocacy. Through her consultancy, Heidi partners with organisations, governments, and movements to transform systems—making them more inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the communities they serve.
Grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience, Heidi specialises in embedding the voices of Autistic, disabled, and multiply marginalised people into policy, practice, and decision-making. She offers tailored services in research, policy development, project management, evaluation, training, and public speaking.
Heidi has contributed to major systemic reforms, including the development of Australia’s first National Autism Strategy, responses to the Disability Royal Commission, and the co-design of Tasmania’s first adult eating disorder service. Her work focuses on shifting structures—not just attitudes—to create lasting, meaningful change.
